The Agricultural Holdings Register (Reafa) will come into effect on October 1

Carmen Crespo, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Sustainable Development, announced that the Agricultural and Forestry Holdings Register of Andalusia (Reafa) will become operational on October 1, while the mandatory transport accompanying document (DAT) will come into effect on October 15. These measures aim to enhance the traceability of the agri-food production process.

According to Minister Crespo, this tool will allow authorities to track the origin of food, its transportation route, the means used, and its final destination. She emphasized that this is a crucial innovation for food safety, which is essential in Andalusia.
